Itinerary
Day 1: Oslo
Arrival Oslo. Suggested sightseeing in Oslo including the Norwegian Folk Museum, The Viking Ships, The Kon-Tiki and Ra Raft. Hostel accommodation: Oslo Hostel Holtekilen
Day 2: Oslo – Voss Approx. 395 km
Breakfast. Leave Oslo and drive through fertile pleasant farming country of Ringerike
and the Hallingdal Valley to Geilo. Cross the Hardangervidda mountain plateau, passing the impressive waterfall Vøringsfossen before reaching the fruit growing district of Hardanger. Cross the Hardangerfjord Bruravik – Brimnes and continue to Voss.

Day 3: Voss – Bergen Aproximately 110 km
Breakfast. On the way from Voss to Bergen a visit to the home of the composer Edward Grieg. Afternoon at leisure. Hostel accommodation: Bergen Hostel Montana
Day 4: Bergen
Breakfast. Visit Bergen after breakfast. Fish Market, Bryggen Warf, The Aquarium. A visit to mount Fløyen with the funicular is highly recommended.

Day 5: Bergen - Stryn Approx. 300km
Breakfast. Drive the coastal route via Førde and Jølster. Before getting to Stryn, go up to the Briksdalen Glacier – one of the most impressive glaciers in Norway.

Day 6: Stryn - Geiranger - Hellesylt Approx. 80 km
Drive to Videseter Mountain Pass, before descending the breathtaking serpentine road to the exceptionally picturesque tourist resort Geiranger. Embark the ferry (reservation on ferry is necessary) and sail along one of the most famous fjords, Geirangerfjord, to Hellesylt. Hostel accommodation: Hellesylt Hostel.
Day 7: Hellesylt - Åndalsnes Approx. 110 km
Breakfast. Drive to Stranda before crossing the fjord by ferry to Liabygda. Continue between towering mountain peaks and thundering waterfalls on the serpentine mountain road Trollstigen to Åndalsnes. Hostel accommodation: Andalsnes Hostel
Day 8: Åndalsnes – Lillehammer Approx. 270km
Breakfast. Drive through romantic Gudbrandsdal Valley to Lillehammer, the host city to the 1994 Winter Olympic Games. Suggested visit to the open air Folk Museum ”Maihaugen”.

Day 9: Lillehammer - Oslo Approx. 185km
Breakfast. Along the shores of Norway’s biggest lake Mjøsa, before arriving in Oslo.
