Nordfjord - Glacier, fjord and sea in two hours! Nordfjord lies in Fjord Norway, and consists of the municipalities of Stryn, Hornindal, Gloppen, Eid, Vågsøy and Selje. A journey along the Nordfjord offers an exceptional variety of scenery ranging from blue glacier arms and towering mountains to fertile valleys and deep lakes, and taking you right out to the coast and the relentless breakers of the Stadhavet sea.
Location: Sandane Youth and Family Hostel (Sandane Vandrerhjem) is easy to access – its situated on the main coastal road between Bergen and Alesund. The hostel is situated about 6 km from the centre of Sandane, which is in Nordfjord. The Sandane airport is about 4 km from hostel and the E 39 is placed within a close distance. There are daily express busses from Bergen, Trondheim and Oslo that go to the area. Welcome to Sandane Youth and Family Hostel.
