The Hellesylt Youth and Family Hostel (Hellesylt Vandrerhjem) is beautifully located with a magnificent view of the Geirangerfjord, Geiranger. There are good opportunities for fishing in rivers, lakes and in the fjord. The hostel can provide maps for walks in the area. Sights: The Hellesylt waterfall, small mountain farms clinging to the mountain sides at the Geirangerfjord and the Synnylven church (1859). The hostel offers different kind of accommodation, single room, double room and family room. Single bed (shared) is also available. Good self catering facilities . Hellesylt Hostel has 12 cabins for rent.
Location: Coming from the north on Rv 60 from Stranda you will find the hostel on the right hand side approx. 100m before the exit to the centre of Hellesylt. Coming from the south and the west, on Rv 60 Hornindal drive past the exit to the centre of Hellesylt and you will find the hostel on the left hand side after 100m.
