Forde is surrounded by beautiful scenery, and the area has got plenty to offer when it comes to outdoor activities. How about hiking in the mountains during the summer, or try cross country or downhill skiing during the winter? The Forde Hostel (Førde Vandrerhjem) is located next to the hospital, approximately 3 km from Førde centre.
The Forde Youth and Family Hostel offers different kind of accommodation, single room , double room and family room. Single bed ( shared) is also available. Good self catering facilities
Location: Exit E39 and continue towards Førde Sentralsjukehus (hospital). Drive past the hospital and across a bridge. Turn right after the bridge, and then follow the signs at the first road to the left. From Forde centre: Drive towards Angedalen, for approximately 3 km. Drive past the bridge that leads to the hospital, and then take the first road to the left.
