The Flaam Family and Youth hostel (Flåm Vandrerhjem) is located at the end of Norway´s longest fjord, the Sognefjord. Flaam is also the end of the famous Flam railway line, one of Norway’s most popular attractions and one of the most beautiful train journeys in the world. Very good starting point for mountain walking and biking. Guided kayak tours on the fjord.
The Flaam hostel offers different kind of accommodation, single room , double room and family room. Single bed ( shared) is also available. Good self catering facilities
Location: When following E 16, head towards Flam center. Turn left at the first crossing, and follow the river 500 or so meters. The driveway leading to Flaam Camping and Vandrarheim is located on the left side of the road. By train, bus, or boat, you will cross the river on the west side of the station and ferry port area. Follow the road and the river for 150 meters, then Flaam Camping and Hostel will be on your right side
